# Job Description

Job Title: Regional Agency Development Manager RADM
Reports to: Chief Agency Officer
Location: Kampala, Uganda

Job Scope:
Reporting to the Chief Agency Officer , the Regional Agency Development
Manager, will be responsible for the development of Pru Elite teams currently
5 teams in Kampala and opening other branch network within selected cities in
Uganda. He/she will be responsible for meeting key business metrics of
Manpower, Active agents, New business, APE, Gross written premiums/Collections
and New business profit NBP and number of millionaires.
As the ideal resource for this role, the successful candidate will be an
ardent team player, with excellent people development skills. In addition,
he/she will be highly confidential, the go to person with an analytical mind-
set, proactive and self-driven, with ability to develop more leaders to take
on the leadership mantle in respective teams.

Principal Accountabilities:
• Development of the 5 Pru Elite teams Pru Lion, Gladiators, Grand Pirates,
Legacy, and team Star.
• Opening branch network within the selected cities in Uganda.
• Ensure the growth of manpower across all branches opened.
• Development of all leaders in Pru Elite teams to increase their active
manpower active span of control.
• Enforcement of full activation management cycle within the entire spectrum
of Pru Elite teams and branch networks.
• Coordinates with other units to address issues and concerns of distribution
in the assigned teams.
• Ensures that the agency teams adhere to Company policies, business practices
and norms
• Enforce agency standards and discipline within the entire spectrum of Pru
Elite and branch teams.
• Increase the number of agents earning above 1 million in all Pru Elite teams
and branches. Reporting
• Provision of a weekly accurate reporting on all the key metrics and
activities within Pru Elite and branch teams.

• Other duties
• Perform any other duties as may be required by the CAO and CEO

Core Competences Required:
• Bachelor’s degree in a Business administration related field, or equivalent
from a recognized University.
• Possession of a professional qualification in insurance or in progress
towards attaining it.
• Minimum of 5 years work experience in the insurance Industry.
• Sales experience in agency management or related field
• Stakeholder relationship management skills
• People development skills
• Organizational skills
• Effective execution skills
• Ability to successfully work in a high activity, fast paced environment
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Good track record of management skills
• Good reporting skills
