Job Summary ⇒ The Paediatric & Adolescent Coordinator will be responsible
for reviewing and monitoring the implementation of systems, policies and
procedures for aligning ‘paediatric and adolescent care’ standard operating
procedures from the district level to health facility and community level in
line with baylor uganda’s mission
Key Duties and Responsibilities ⇒
⇗ Develop and monitor the implementation of paediatrics and adolescent capacity building plan based on clearly identified need
⇗ Develop a system to periodically monitor the implementation of strategies for retention of hiv exposed infants and infected children into care
⇗ Bench mark the current status of health facilities in the region regarding hiv testing and care services for children and adolescents
⇗ Develop and monitor early childhood development strategies for management of psychosocial issues affecting children in care. develop and strengthen partnerships and networks, participating in operational research.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience ⇒
⇗ Registered with the uganda medical and dental practitioners council preferably with health systems strengthening management training.
